Tia’s passion for physiotherapy began as a patient. Through her own experiences with injuries as a competitive ringette and soccer athlete, she developed an appreciation for the impact physiotherapy can have on helping people return to the activities they love.
Tia graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology before pursuing a Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta. Throughout her education, she also gained experience as a coach and team trainer, further developing her interest in injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance. She enjoys working with individuals of all ages and injuries, with a particular interest in athletes and pediatric populations.
Tia values physiotherapy that begins with understanding what matters most to you. She believes the most effective rehabilitation happens when care is individualized and built through collaboration and open communication, making you, your goals, and your lifestyle central to the process. She integrates therapeutic exercise, hands-on techniques, and education to support your progress and help you achieve your goals.
Outside of the clinic, Tia likes to spend her time exploring the outdoors. You can often find her hiking, cross-country skiing, baking, or planning her next travel adventure.
